Fast & Friendly service. Not huge menu but good selection of traditional cafe type food. I had a bacon burger with fries & was tasty/well cooked. Prices are reasonable for a cafe of this type. Bit stingy with the fries (a common complaint of mine!) but otherwise very happy with my experience here. Not many cafes like this in Central Bedford Town centre (well I couldn't find any others), so very glad for the River Cafe to be here! Very popular with retired/elderly folk which is probably a good sign!Vegetarian options: Menu not extensive so limited optionsDietary restrictions: Menu not extensive so limited optionsWheelchair accessibility: No step from pavement into premises. Also good for elderly customers or those with limited mobility
