We go to The Bridge about 4 times per year. We are not very extravagant but when we do eat out we want it to be better than I can make at home. Any guest we bring with us all love it too. Every meal we’ve had here has been excellent! My favourites are Twice Baked Cheese Soufflé, The Seafood Linguini, my hubby loves the Fish & Chips (he has this every time he goes, lol) . A fantastic chance stopping, will I am sure lead to more planned visits going forward. Food was superb, service, atmosphere and feel of the place all excellent. Having driven past this place often through its decline (which I now know to be 10years ago plus) this was great to see what a turnaround a place can have with clearly a great team behind it. Will most definitely be calling again and would highly recommend it.
Great little food pub on A66. We went for Sunday lunch with a friend who lives in the area.We had the Roast Dinners 2 Beef and 1 Chicken. They were lovely a great plate ful,l with lots of meat and a giant Yorkshire pudding.Pudding was great as well with some Apple Crumble a d a Ginger SpongeThe service was friendly, and the owner was lovely.We will go again when we are in the area or passing on our way to Scotland ???
