We had a superb lunch at The Globe Inn, Lympstone yesterday and this far exceeded our already high expectations. We were looking for somewhere nice and a bit of googling showed us the Globe Inn so we stopped by. Whilst we were first in, we were in no rush so we sat and relaxed in the nice surroundings with a drink whilst our mussels, monkfish and ribeye steak were all prepared. Really exceptional public house and restaurant which is a great asset to Lympstone village. Very friendly and helpful staff - and customers. Dog friendly. They welcome cash - so no problems there. Looking forward to visiting again soon. The beer is great too.
