My husband went in and ordered 2 meals tonight and on returning home found only chips and no battered sausage with the meal, tried ringing 3 times but no answer.

Went up for fish and chips with curry sauce as a Sunday evening treat. The size of the portion was massive and it had nice chunky chips and the best curry in plympton. Staff were friendly and polite

I like Haddock, I’ve tried so many fish and chips shops in Plymouth, this is one of the best ones, the fish tasted very nice with the batter (I usually remove the batter if it’s not good), I could still taste the fish even if I didnt dip it in any sauce. Texture of the fish was lovely, not chewy. Generous portion of food even the dip. Impressive ??

Decent fish and chips with a good variety of food items, the venue is well-maintained. The staff is helpful, friendly, and provides excellent customer service.

This is our 5th Fish and Chip takeaway from here after a recommendation last year. It's comfortably the best Fish and Chip joint in Plympton.
The food is surprisingly non greasy considering what you're buying.
The portions are very good and the fish itself is a great size in delicious batter.
From ordering to collection it's always been quick, usually 5-10 mins depending on how busy it is as it seems to be cooked to order. The chips are also great. Chunky, fresh and crispy.
The curry sauce also has a delightful tang to it.
The service has been great every time.
We'll be back again, and again, and again. ??

Very small “Large” fish today. Would have been disappointed if I had ordered a small fish. The batter and the fish were over-cooked too. All in all a bad, and expensive, meal.

Tonight we had our usual fish and chips but unfortunately one of the portions of fish was rather small - perhaps part of it fell off in the fryer! When I headed back to the shop to ask for a replacement, one of the chefs came over right away and immediately offered a replacement without issue. He confirmed I was happy with the fillet and made a fresh one there and then. After a friendly chat with (I believe) the owner, I was soon on my way as a happy customer. We will be more than happy to keep supporting a local business that looks after it's customers properly! Thanks lads ?

Will definitely not use this place again.
The portion size was pretty good.
My order consisted of two portions of fish which was so greasy the BP wanted to by shares off me. Chips that had been in the fryer since Margaret thather was in power and a battered sausage so over done I called the vicar in for the ceremony. But alas I was still stupid enough to eat this, subsequently the hours that followed where nerve racking.
I sware I have lost a good Stone in weight.
So perfect for weight loss and colon detox.
Sub par food establishment
