Max Tannett was the most charming, enthusiastic, and best server we have ever had. He served our food excellently, and always made sure we where satisfied. He was extremely friendly with the dogs. He was great when asking for a tip, because he was so consistent with asking for one. Definitely deserves a raise. 10/10 service.
came here on a day trip to salcombe on a whim and stumbling upon this place was the best thing ever on our trip. i had been craving fish and chips for our whole trip down south but it was only on day 5 of the trip i finally got my hands on one. it might have been the hunger or the excitement but i can safely say that i had the BEST fish and chips ever, definitely worth the wait! After a long journey, we knew we would be too tired to cook so booked a table here for our first night. The fish and chips, and market fish were both excellent - very well cooked and exceeding our expectations. The waiter (Tom according to the receipt) was very keen and friendly, ensuring we had an enjoyable evening
