Very disappointed this time. There appeared to be only 2 staff serving both the restaurant and bar areas. It was not busy but it was still 30 mins before our order was taken and a further 30 mins before starters arrived and then about another 45 mins before the mains came. Having spent over 2 hours already we didn't want to risk desserts. The food was OK, but it wasn't very hot and the rump steak was very tough. November 2023This used to be a regular eating place for many Christchurch diners, but quality and service had gone way down hill during last summer and we just stopped going.......But thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of Lucy (Maitre' d) and her staff (some in training), this has been truly reversed.Our group comprised 14 "seniors".
