Fantastic food and fantastic service. We ate here on a Tuesday night, it wasn't particularly busy but the guys waited for us to finish our food and didn't rush us at all! We were the last ones standing still drinking our wine. We were even offered coffee and dessert and told to take our time. Felt very welcomed and comfortable. My wife and I went to James and White in Christchurch last night for my wife's birthday. On Wednesdays they do a £45 steak night for two which also includes a salad starter and a bottle of wine. We had sirloin steaks cooked medium with French fries and pepper sauce. The food was delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant.

We used to go 2 or 3 times a month to Reef Encounter (J&W sister in Boscombe) for Wednesday steak night, but it really went down hill after first Ash then Christian left. We gave the Reef a second, third and fourth chance but it was always chaotic - both food and service even before the lockdowns. We gave up. Miraculously I’m still on J&W mailing list so we gave the Christchurch restaurant a go tonight. Just perfect. All is forgiven.
