In October 2021 I visited The Lobster Pot with my family. We went a few years back on Father's Day and we booked a table. We got told that due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn't get to our designated table straightaway so we had to wait. Okay we thought, after 20mins waiting in the bar area we asked to see a manager which then we got told they was unavailable and we will be sorted as soon as possible. Spotlessly clean, plenty of milk for 2 cups of teas in the morning. There was noise from reversing lorries/vans in the morning. Bath and shower good.Food not good but will do a separate review for that. Parking good.
We saw this place on our way to the beach and thought it would be a nice place to pop to on our way home. After reading other reviews there’s no way we’d have gone if we’d seen these first but to be fair we had a good experience. We arrived with no booking and we’re seated straight away in a nice quiet area. I had scampi and my husband had a steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. Service was good.
