I've been to this restaurant a number of times before. Let's face it, the food is good and the service is, as usual, very good. But my main problem is the size of the main dishes. About 4 months ago I had a spag bol (in this same restaurant) which was really well cooked, but absolutely tiny. I had to have half of my girlfriend's meal and was still hungry when I left. Food was okay and nothing more. Starter of bread and olives was nice enough, but main course of sea bass with gnocchi was uneventful, the fish particularly being underwhelming. Ice cream desert was straight from the fridge so was not pleasant to eat. Overbearing air con had the room feeling very cold. On the plus side, the waitress was attentive, polite and friendly.

Prezzo in Billericay was one of the last restaurants locally to re-open after lockdown and we finally retrurned last week. We were pleased to see a slightly refreshed menu. We used to visit Prezzo as a family and as a couple, regularly, but we found the menu needed a change and as a result we hadn't visited for a number of years.
