Came here for a pit stop lunch! We often drive down to go in the aquatics place next door. Been coming here pretty much since it started as a little cafe. The food is always fresh hot and tasty and above all very reasonable. Ive told lots of my friends about it who also now go there. All of the staff are lovely and attentive. We went last night (Sat 2nd July) and was very impressed with the superb food and friendly service. The cost was significantly less than if you went to a pub/restaurant and would recommend anyone to go and try their menu. Everyone on our table really enjoyed their food and the experience. We cycled there so we could enjoy a few beers - they have bottled ale as well as wine and some great cocktails - our other halves had great Pina Coladas. We have visited The Lillies Café, as a family of five, in excess of ten times - for either breakfast or lunch. Each time we've been, we've had great experiences. The food is excellent, the portions are generous and the prices are fair. The venue itself is pleasant, with the pods in the garden being a great addition; they are warm when it's cold (with heating built-in to each pod) and shaded/cool when it's hot (the heavy plastic sheeting which borders each pod, can be rolled up...read full review
