We had a 25th wedding anniversary and The Tea Rooms did our catering. Very professional and everything looked and tasted wonderful. Would highly recommend them.

Coffee was good and omelette and beans devoured with lust Service was slow and the cafe wasnt full. Entered premises clean shaven when served I had a full beard.

Really wanted to try this and had seen good reviews but sadly very disappointed. I do not mind paying top prices for good quality and good service, sadly this was top prices, for average food and poor service. I am always happy to tip for good service, but hate the imposed 10% service charge, it feels like theft. All positive I can say is, the coffee was nice. The toilets are not very clean, and the seat was missing in the Gents. Just poor all round, and will not be going back.

Started visiting this little tea room after my mum moved too Witham, the food is lovely and fresh and generous portions, the owner LJ is lovely and roasts are yummy in fact it's all yummy ???? look forward too my weekly visit here

I recently popped in for breakfast on the way home from dropping off car to garage. Friendly chatty staff, nice atmosphere, hot food & drink. Didn't have to wait long for food.

We haven’t managed to eat here before, we did a visit during covid to collect afternoon tea (which was amazing) but finally got round to a proper visit. Was just as good if not better, 3 of us had panini’s and my mum had the coronation quiche. All 4 plates went back wiped clean! The food is fresh, made to order, the team are very helpful, the cakes are delicious (according to my Dad and daughter) they also cater for gluten free. Highly recommend!

Went with my friend and really enjoyed the home cooked food. Staff friendly and the tearoom has a nice relax atmosphere. Had the Bakewell tart for dessert and I really enjoyed it

Went a few time before and no problem. But went there last month with my partner and was treated very different… not greeted, yelled at across the room to find a table. Didn’t give us a menu and waited long time to be served. They served people that came in after us.. we walked out in the end and ate else where! Lost a customer for good!!!’

Rude staff, terrible service. Didn’t show us to our table but shouted at us from across the room to take a seat. Did not give us menus, I had to go up to the counter and ask for them.We ended up walking out because we sat down for 15mins and they never even bother taking our drinks order and continued ignoring us, whilst they continued seating and serving people who came in after us.
