The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was our anniversary and we were staying nearby, running a little late and their kitchen was nearly close. They were really accommodating and sorted us a table and served us EXCELLENT food. Thank you so much for a really special evening. Would definitely come again! Especially with cocktails that good

Booked for 20.00 and arrived promptly , walked in to see a couple of serving staff at the bar who didn't seem to notice us , eventually someone showed us to our table after we spoke to them. Ordered drinks but two of the cocktails we wanted were out of stock, bad start, ordered food and it came half an hour later, food was good but as we wanted a Tapas style meal we ordered some more dishes but were told the kitchen closed at nine! so that gave us 30 minutes to complete our order! - not good - no mention of the kitchen closing that early when booking or on the website. Lesson is don't book after 19.00 - its a shame because we had eaten there twice before and the experience had been great - no tip left

It started well with a delicious rum cocktail and crispy nachos but unfortunately went downhill fast. Multiple things weren't available so I ended up opting for the plantain, sadly it was bland save for a red sauce tasting suspiciously like ketchup. The service was friendly and helpful at the table but the communications with the bar/billing team wasn't working as they forgot a drink and our bill, which we requested twice, before finally giving up and going to the till to pay. A shame as we had high hopes.

Amazing food! Their website states that they have the best cocktails in town, they are absolutely correct. It’s so hard to find good quality, well made cocktails around here and I am so thankful for this place. One thing, my partner only drinks cider and cannot stand fruit cider. Please bring back a nice traditional cider so I can drink here for longer and not have to go somewhere else to keep the boyfriend happy.

Absolutely delicious food. However, our experience of the service on a recent Thurs night was appalling. Despite giving you a red and green bobbin that you turn over to get service the staff just don't bother checking and were more interested in chatting to each other at the bar than serving customers. Numerous customers around us were also frustrated by the same thing. Food took a long time to come out and when it did arrive (after chasing it's whereabouts) it was not what we ordered. They then said we'd get the right order in 2-3 mins but what they actually meant was 30 mins later (after chasing it's whereabouts again). We did complain and received a 10% discount but despite the food being nice we certainly wouldn't return again. For context, it wasn't even that busy at the time.
Additionally, the male toilets were more of a storage room for crates (hopefully not food crates!) and the lights didn't work over the sink so you have to wash your hands in the dark.
Not entirely sure how this place currently has a 4.7 star rating.

Called in for a quick after work drink. Though there is no outdoor space the entrance and the open windows let some nice cool breeze in... Very welcome on a hot evening. Hadn't been for a while and there was a new listing of cocktails. I chose the Maya old fashioned and it was really good. Both in taste and looks. I loved the huge ice cube.
Third time visiting, this time with friends. Great cocktails and even better food, we'll be coming back again!

A must try place for Latin food. Nachos was really spot on and flavourful. The Galgos chilli sauce is not very spicy and goes well with the shredded beef stew.
