Visited The Alma Tavern to celebrate our friends birthday and we had a brilliant evening.
Very welcoming pub, and despite being busy the bar service was good and relatively quick.
Drinks were reasonably priced and we made the most of the 2for1 cocktail offer.
Will definitely be back.
Nice family pub I visited with my parents and sister. we had a nice Saturday afternoon here. We will definitely be visiting again .??
Very friendly staff and customers, dog friendly would definitely go in this pub again
Big food menu unfortunately no food!
Excellent service I be back nice place
Absolutely fabulous
Every body was so friendly
I went in there with two dogs and very pleased that the lady offered me water for the dogs as well as treats. It seems to have improved since new management have taken over. I didn’t have food but did see other customers with food and it looked good so I’m tempted to try it. I think the dogs give you 10 out of 10 for the crisps and water. Lol
Our super local pub. Been in a few times for a quick beer stop. Service is always friendly. 2 cocktails for £10 deal is my favourite offer.
On Saturday’s they are my worst enemy due to Live music / Karaoke nights that keeps me up due to us living in close proximity. But that’s the tax you pay living on a main road I guess.
Quiet Sunday afternoon. Popped in for a drink with a friend and mate. Quick, pleasant service. Watched some tennis, although the music wasn't to my taste. I was tempted by the beer garden but it rained.
All good.
I enjoyed my visit to the Alma. Service was excellent. The bar very clean and drinks reasonably priced. The customers were also friendly. I understand they have live music and intend improving the garden at the rear if the property. There is a large patio out front which is a sun-trap all day. A good local pub.

Went to a live music evening here and was pleasantly surprised, limited real ale from tap but lots of alternatives. Staff pleasant and amicable, great atmosphere with the live music.
There was a band there, it was a very lovely evening good vibes. Trying yo grt a drink and then.paying for it was absolutely ridiculous
Quality service. Friendly staff.
Attended with 20 members of family for my daughters birthday. Lovely space and they allowed us to bring toys and play mats and older members entertained by pool table and darts board. Great food on offer such as pizzas, wings and veggie bites of mozzarella sticks etc. This pub has struggled with footfall over the years but I’d encourage everyone to support this local pub with friendly welcoming new owners. Dog friendly too ❤️
We went for granddaughters first birthday. Had a great time. The draught beer Tribune IPA was brill. The food we had was really tasty. The staff were lovely. We will return.
