Chicken sandwich was better than a Popeyes one. Service was great as well.

Line was quite long during the weekend. Expect to wait a bit during dinner on a weekend.

Food, service and screaming teenagers run about. All dreadful.

food was disgusting overly salted and not worth the price I had paid, the service was terrible and staff were rude at the time i was there. The only positive was the atmosphere being nice

Pretty poor in all areas really. Had to queue for 15mins to get in….’security’ manning the door gave a10minute sales pitch that Alan Sugar would’ve been proud of (possibly?).
The food wasn’t very nice to be honest. Probably best bit of meal was the pickles!

I visited the store yesterday just before midnight and ordered the Dave No.3 – Extra Hot. I originally considered the Reaper, but the cashier discouraged me, saying it wasn’t great and required a waiver anyway. Come on! The staff should be hyping customers up to try the spiciest option, not talking them out of it! To be fair, it was closing time and takeaway only, so maybe she just wanted to wrap up for the night.

Now, onto the food. The spice level on the Extra Hot was underwhelming for me, despite all the social media hype. I suspect it's mostly from people who think sweet chili is spicy. However, the real stars of the meal were the sliders and fries. The chicken in the slider was cooked perfectly, juicy, tender, and paired with a soft bun, crisp pickles, and well-balanced coleslaw. The crinkle-cut fries had great seasoning and were a solid side.

The only downside is it wasn't the reaper and they forgot to include extra Dave Sauce in my order, which was a bit disappointing. I’ll definitely be back, but next time, I’ll dine in and make sure to get the reaper level, an extra tub of sauce, some mac & cheese, and a milkshake to complete the experience.

Quite busy had to queue up. The food was very good and generous with portions. One side note is to ease up on the seasoning, the taste was quite overwhelming and I recommend adding more chips and reduce the salad in the burger. The atmosphere was great we got seating inside for 6 people. Would go here again ?

It gets packed quickly (which isn’t a bad thing). The chicken is good ??

Good fried chicken, not too oily, not too dry. The hot chicken was bearable, the Reaper almost broke me.
Was joking around about the random piece of bread it came with ... but you need it.
The queue is usually long but it moves along fast enough.

Great food, service was always bad every time I went. Not bothered to clean tables.

The food here was undeniably tasty; I really enjoyed the flavors and the quality. However, be prepared for a wait. Getting a seat proved to be quite a challenge. We ended up queuing for a solid 30-40 minutes just to order, which significantly impacted our overall experience. Then start the challenge of finding a seat. If you're willing to brave the wait, the food is worth it, but plan your visit accordingly!

The food is nothing good. We ordered all levels of spice and it’s okay. The reaper is not hot but has many kinds of spices that give it a weird taste which just makes you wanna stop eating anything else for hours.

The food was quite oily. It is overhyped for no reason.

One of the worst foods I have had.

Don't believe the hype. Got a slider with a fillet mild spice. Chips, added cheese and a chocolate captain crunch milkshake.

Chips were good, gherkins were refreshing.

The chicken, though cooked perfectly, the seasoning was so salty I couldn't finish it. Really horrible. Tried my friends spicy fillet too and that was too salty, masked by spice but still salty af.

The milkshake wasn't good, was reccomended it by staff. Best stick with plain vanilla imo.

Looks appetising but was far from satisfying. Best thing going for it is the price, was £12.

If you got a sodium deficiency go to daves, one piece of chicken is 100% of your RDA of sodium. Now I understand why they recommend to pour honey over your chicken so the saltiness is masked.

Superb chicken, very juicy and spicy with some honey, mmmmmmmmh!!!!!

(The medium is already quite spicy for the less adventurous)
