Cafe with a select but delicious blend of coffee and breakfast Friendly and efficient staff. Tried cold espresso, iced latte, macchiato, cortado and capaccino- they were all delicious.

The quality of the beans was outstanding – rich, aromatic, and perfectly roasted. Plus, the staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're a coffee lover!

Disappointing and avoidable experience. Ordered a sausage roll across the road and came in for a coffee to stay to avoid the coffee cut deposit and slow my morning down (like the deposit idea - but said I wasn't in a hurry). Didnt see any signs about external food so thought I'd have my sausage roll. It wouldn't take longer than my coffee nor did I take up more space at my standing spot. I was essentially asked to leave because external food was not allowed despite no signage in view saying the same. Really, there was no reason for this given I did buy a coffee and was a customer. So I grabbed my stuff and stood outside. Very silly scenario to find myself in. When you are across from the one of the best known food markets in the world a paying customer is always likely to have a snack from outside. The coffee was ok - nothing special, but acceptable an ok price at €4. But I'd never come back based on how silly that scenario was. Businesses that do this really aren't my vibe. Many will defend them I'm sure but it's silly.

I usually go there for coffee but today I was looking for a sweet treat. I got a canelé which is one of my favourite french pastry and oh my god, it was the best I ever had. YOU NEED TO GO THERE AND GET ONE!

Great coffee spot opposite the borough market in London, @monmouthcoffee serves great cappuccino and pastries and has a cosy space inside. Service was great and quick.

I really wanted to drink coffee from Monmouth. I went to their store near Borough Market. I offered to pay with cash (exact amount) since my wallet was stolen and I didn’t have any card with me. I told them I would never be able to buy the coffee, since I have no card and I am a tourist in the city. In general, people are understanding and allow me to pay cash. But the manager or head barista (whoever they were) gave me a big, psychotic smile and said no.
I’m sure the coffee is good but charging a £5 deposit for a takeaway cup and not doing paper cups is very frustrating after queuing up to get a coffee.
