We ordered our food and drinks and we got the drinks straight away but the food took ages to arrive. After it had arrived the food was amazing and I definitely enjoyed it, the staff were all so nice and friendly to us.

I ordered 2 tacos from the restaurant through Deliveroo. I genuinely don't know what I got; I called the restaurant, and a guy named Niroshan doesn't even know what tacos are, and the way he talks to me makes me think they don't care about complaints. After that, I spoke with the manager, who, shockingly, doesn't know tacos or the language. The 2 tacos (restaurant mentioned) cost 30 pounds also expect a perium presentation and packaging. Overall a waste of money. I do not advocate eating their tacos. Undoubtedly, you will be upset.

Kesh was an amazing host, so friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, especially the mutton curry! Will be back again!

Was treated to Columbo kitchen by the family so we had a table booked for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was reasonably busy considering and we were seated pretty much immediately.

Service: I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, they were checking on us regularly and making sure all was good. The service was slightly slower than I would have liked but as the staff were friendly it was easy to overlook.

Food: the food was clearly fresh and tasty, I liked that they asked how spicy we wanted the food, Sri Lankan food is pretty spicy and I find other places don’t ask.

Atmosphere: very relaxed environment decor was nice and it’s was generally a clean restaurant.

Price: our bill came to about £200 for 5 people, I do feel it was a little overpriced but as I enjoyed the food and the team were great it is a bit more digestible.

Accessibility: we were lucky enough to find parking directly outside, that being said there is plenty of parking in the high street and side roads so it easy to get to.

This place is deserving of 5 stars but the slight delay in getting the food out and the price means I’ll give it a 4

The very best Sri Lankan food in London. The Jackfruit curry takes me back to Sri Lanka. The hoppers have a wonderful texture, and crispy sides. Worth every penny.

The culinary offerings at Colombo kitchen exceeded our expectations. We started with the Egg hoppers, which was presented beautifully and had a harmonious blend of flavors. The Chicken Kottu was cooked to perfection, with tender, succulent meat and a rich, flavorful sauce. The portion sizes were generous and justified the pricing. The highlight of our meal was the Milk hopper with Hakuru, a decadent treat that provided a perfect ending to our meal.

Customer Service:
The service we received was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and our server was well-versed with the menu, providing insightful recommendations. The food was delivered promptly, and the staff frequently checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meal.

Special Thanks to Niroshan:
A special mention goes to Niroshan, who truly made our dining experience exceptional. His warm demeanor and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Niroshan went above and beyond by accommodating our dietary preferences. His genuine enthusiasm and professionalism significantly enhanced our visit.

Fantastic food with unique taste and flavours that aren't overwhelmed by spices or spiciness.

Great service by the wait staff and manager!

Convenient street side parking nearby as well.

Would definitely recommend a try even if you're not in the area. Strongly recommend exploring their starters and drinks on top of their mains.

My family and I visited colombo kitchen for the first time on my mums birthday and the food was amazing. We went in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was visibly busy and their service was exceptional and the food was worth the price. I would definitely recommend the hoppers and the mango + papaya salad and beware their spice is super spicy!! Unfortunately, I did not get to try the vatalappam as it was out of stock but I was promised a portion for my next visit! Thank you for the great time!

It was my first time trying Sri Lankan food, was nice experience, the price was pretty high as it was not in central London, but most of the dishes I had were tasty. The portion sizes were not big though.

Overpriced food. Low quantity. Food tastes not upto the standard. I believe influencers are getting paid by the restaurant for leaving over hyped reviews.
