Probably the worst food I've ever had from a chip shop. Stopped here on a December lunchtime on spec. Decided to eat in. Fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and coffee. All piping hot and great quality. Good service, pleasant staff. I couldn't fault it.
Pleasant young man counterpointed by an unsmiling woman prepping and frying . . . This was a meal to fill time so asked for takeaway to eat in the rain by the bridge.The chips were in the top few percent of a long lifetime of eating chips and fries all over the UK and the world.
