A proper pub. Good beer, good food, good service and a warm welcome.
Very nice pub. We all were looked after by the staff and management for my aunts wake. Pub has been there for decades and Is nicely decorated well worth a visit.
We had a great night seeing a live band

We highly recommend 5*
Beautiful old pub which has been decorated beautifully. The staff were pleasant and helpful when you could get their attention. Came here with my colleague to have some lunch.
We ordered loaded fries, Garlic Ciabatta Bread and Some sandwiches. The sandwich was lovely however the loaded fries had too much sauce on it. It was looking very presentable but wasn’t as tasty as it looks like!!!I
Food N /A great atmosphere, unlike the lully castle up the road, can't believe the difference so welcoming.
Lovely wallpaper
Great food, lovely staff and a well maintained beer garden with a play area for the kids. Always busy when we go. They often do events/ live music which are well worth a visit.
Parking: Parking to the rear. Often packed but usually can find a space or park on the roads opposite
Kid-friendliness: Lovely playground. Sweet machine. Allows kids until quite late. Provide highchair if you need one.
Questionable fish and chips .. ?

Beat scampi in a pub i have had in years
Lovely wee pub, good food, friendly staff, didn't object to replVing my beer when I discovered one on the tap had gone sour. I walked for an hour to get here, shame there's not better rights-of-way between St Mary's Quay and here, the countryside around is beautiful, I saw a sparrowhawk, a kestrel and a deer while cutting through the fields!
Good food and services good
