Detling Diner is closed so we went to a wooden shack opposite it. The wooden shack is horrendous. The staff were exceptionally rude and the food is not fit for a dog. If you need food just go to the Petrol station and buy from there. I think the foods standard agency would rate this place 1 / 5 if it was inspected.

Great diner, excellent service, lovely food and friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Host a great bike meet on Wednesday and Friday evenings and Sunday mornings too. Would highly recommend the diner and the bike meets to anyone???

Stopped for drink and because I wanted to breastfeed my baby on their outside benches in the shade. Was rudely approached by a staff member within a minute and told we couldn't sit there because we weren't customers, despite not yet having a chance to order.
As our toddler was carrying a banana and a bread stick, the staff member rather rudely said we clearly weren't going to order food. As it happens, we only wanted a drink. Seems ludicrous that a family can't make a pit stop for a drink without being made to feel unwelcome.
Additionally, there was only one other table occupied despite there being plenty of seating available.

Avoid this health and safety hazard! I recently visited Detling Diner A249, hoping for a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, my visit was marred by a significant issue: the food was clearly cooked in old, rancid oil. From the moment my order arrived, I could tell something was off. The telltale signs were evident in the food’s appearance and smell. The fried items, in particular, had a dark, greasy coating that hinted at the overused oil. The aroma was far from appetizing, carrying a strong, unpleasant smell that immediately put me off. Also, I believe the photos attached speak for themselves. A V O I D

While being at Detling showground, we visited the diner for breakfast. Breakfast was very nice, even though I thought some of the Breakfast items were from the day before. Very nice host!!!

Didn't stop it was understafed and smelt of burnt food
Popped in for a light lunch and drink on the way to Ramsgate. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Best if you keep on driving past.
Awesome food friendly staff and if you love bike there are ofter a few to see here and always have been felt welcome
