10/10 experience, my brother just came in to use the loo and I for a glass of water. The server was super kind and even brought me a spare water for my brother. It’s the gold standard for service, sadly didn’t try the food but the menu looks amazing. The owner should be extremely proud of the place he’s got here!

Four visited for an evening meal and we were very impressed by the food and service. The dishes were reasonably priced and the quantities were generous. We were well taken care of by the young waitresses who attentive and charming. Certainly we hope to return; in fact I think we have found a gem!

Really lovely little pub with a decent car park, we only popped in on a hot day for a quick cold drink… the lovely staff did a Bloody Mary for me ! - ended up being recommended the ribs which were … well, just look at the picture ! I don’t do many reviews but this gaff deserves it.
The roast dinner was tasty however the pudding was not worth the money. We ordered the lemon meringue pie and I asked if it was homemade. Waitress said she was unsure. We requested it came warm. On arrival it was cold and the meringue soft. We requested if it could be heated but were told they couldn't heat it as the box didn't give heating instructions. For £9.50 I would expect something a it more

We call in the George and Dagon, this evening, for our evening meal, and the welcome we received was really warm and friendly, the food delicious and hot, we are down here on our holidays from Cheshire, but if I lived here I would be a regular customer, would highly recommend, give it a try, you won't be disappointed,x

We came across this pub by chance. Unfortunately the waitresses were non engaged - they were very young but still no excuse. No eye contact, no follow up on the food, sauces, etc. Bog standard pub grub served by untrained staff. A mediocre experience all around.
