Love this place very friendly bar staff are excellent
We stopped off at The Good Intent during a mid week, circular walk from Teston.
There was a good enough selection of beers on offer, a decent welcome and sevice and no problem getting a seat. I opted for a pint of Stella and a plate of nachos covered in chilli and cheese which were both very nice. Other people in our group had the garlic prawns which they said were very nice and recommended.
The pub started to fill up by the time we were about to leave and there was quite a good atmosphere.
We would definitely return when we are in the area in the future.
Excellent service and a brilliant green to enjoy ya pint on
Never has a pub had such an apt name. Would recommend above all others and in my eyes second to none. Family run pub for all to enjoy.
Never ate here so I can’t comment on the food. Everything thing else is great though.
Proper pub. Staff always friendly
Went in for a beer after football, great little pub, a decent pint and friendly staff and locals. Plenty of parking.
Excellent pub, great atmosphere, lovely people, kind and caring. Play park on the green opposite with benches for a nice summer drink, cosy fire for the winter months, pool table, dart board and juke box for entertainment.
Saw another review on here regarding a customer coming in with a hedgehog, and I would like to state that the facts in the review are untrue as I was in the pub that night and witnessed the encounter. The pub does welcome animals and countless dogs are in here as there are so many dog walkers that come past and stop in for a nice drink!
Love J V review!
I was in the pub at the time and she was clearly not in the best condition you would expect when entering a pub that time of night.
The most funny thing was the emotional support animal was a hedgehog and she produced it from her bra!!
I think Ben handled the situation superbly, all credit to him.
Beautiful little village pub that overlooks the green which has a well maintained playground. Cracking spot for parents.

Went to the pub and asked if they permit war veterans with PTSD who have emotional support animals and told by a surley manager called Ben to get out. I've since met people at other local public houses who witnessed the occasion and couldn't believe how rude he was to me. I said I would review it and he said 'go on then'.
Come here to meet some friends, great atmosphere and staff. A really friendly, welcoming pub with a good pool table and darts table but you have to being your own darts. Toilets are clean, plenty of seating and overall a nice place to spend an evening. And the heating was on which was a big plus!Parking: Only about 8-15 spots but plenty of space nearby.
Excellent beer and
