My God, been here twice in one week, that tells you everything! Absolutely love the food. Gammon with pineapple and chips with honey mustard sauce and today lamb roast dinner with generous portion of roasties, Yorkshire pud, veg and stuffing with gravy. Just amazing. I imagine butties are cheaper but these hot meal are so large in size so well worth the money. Wish they opened on a weekend too ?

Ordered the Christmas Dinner here today, honestly wasn't great. The box was mostly gammon and one tiny piece of turkey, the potatoes were like rocks, the Yorkshire pudding you get is also a rock and the gravy wasn't as nice as usual, not as thick and tasty. Quite a letdown for the price of £10. Usually great tasty food.

Used to.love it here but gone down bigtime orderd 3 christmas soups lady who served me was so rude no manners and the soup was a big letdown there were loads of bones in the soup which really put me

Food is really good. Service is really slow. If you fancy standing in the queue for 20 minutes then you will be rewarded.

Tried for the first time today. I'm not surprised the place is always super busy. Food was lovely and fresh. Shop is nice and clean and staff were all working really hard. I will definitely return.
Popped in before going to a meeting as I was absolutely starving... I only got a bacon and sausage on toast (the Cumberland ring had sold out) due to time constraints but that was enough! Lunch was provided by my host but I had to decline as the butty really saw me through. For such a low price they really filled it with with proper thick bacon and proper sausages.There's a reason the queues go out the door and they have to make so many telephone orders.I'll be going back there next time I'm in Birkenhead (even if I have to make a detour...).
