Lovely cosy country pub that serves a wide variety of meals, something to suit everyone. The owners are really welcoming & service is very efficient without being intrusive. Great friendly atmosphere, free parking & good value & generous portions . Well worth a visit .
Picture postcard village location. Locals and visitors, some from USA, when I popped in on a bike ride for a half. Landlord happy to chat. He showed the Americans some antique police handcuffs!

Oh my goodness, Saturday night and closed at 9.30. no opportunity to get another drink. Not sure when the licencing law changed but to blame COVID in 2023 as an excuse to close it's doors so early is somewhat disingenuous. Typical village atmosphere but pleasant enough apart from the lazy excuse to close early
