We booked well in advance to eat here and it did not dissapoint.A small but select dining experience of beautifully cooked seafood. The food was beautifully presented hot and flavoursome. Most of the food is home cooked local and fresh. The old forge was not cheap eating but given the very generous portions and fine wine ,we were very happy.
This is the best seafood restaurant on the coast hands down! Colin and sarah are fantastic hosts as are their team. The food every time is cooked to perfection and in abundance for a great price. We keep on coming and are never disappointed 10/10 every time James and michelle

Took my wife and her parents here last weekendTop notch food at very reasonable prices compared to other similar types of restaurants,Excellent choice and perfectly cooked. I really couldn't fault itStaff were excellent. Both attentive and polite. Colin is a character (in a good way) which made the evening soooo very enjoyable.Will be back soon as I'm desperate to try the rare Cognac
