One of the few pubs in the area to be open on a Monday evening. We had a lovely meal, delicious pork loin special and superb pie. Lovely staff and a really relaxing atmosphere. A lovely pub. Thank you.
Excellent menu choices and first class quality food and service. Special dietary requirements ( gluten free and a no onions/garlic ) were well catered for with lots of choice and a chef prepared to make adjustments. The food was genuinely outstanding with wonderful sea food chowder to start and pork belly and steaks for mains; all perfectly cooked and flavoured. Too full for puds. We were welcomed with a lovely £4 pint of cask ale in The Ships January offer. Had an excellent Sunday lunch, the welcoming staff, service and food was of an exceptional quality. We both went for the Topside of beef and cleared our plates. We will be back. Thank you.
