The staff were all very polite and welcoming the ladies on reception seemed organised. Sadly the hotel lacked management. The staff while very pleasant were not organised. Breakfast was the worst time with the buffet running empty and dirty plates from first course left on the table after the cooked breakfast was delivered. Evening meal was slightly better organised. We had one of the Lodge Rooms. Very clean, comfortable bed and good en suite. It has a sitting room and well provided for kitchenette.If you wanted to self cater. We only had breakfasts in the restaurant.Very good variety of choice and freshly cooked.No main reason except we wanted explore the areas restaurants. Would certainly go here again, if in the area.
This is our third stay here, both pre covid, during covid and now…. each time in one of the fab little cottages which are perfect for a family stay with the separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms - and we enjoyed this stay as much as ever! it was the first time we had been in the pavilion bar which wasn’t finished last time and this was a lovely addition. staff were really accommodating, letting us pick up our passes early for the nearby searles resort so we could use the pool to...read full review
