25/9/24 … Amazing, old English village Inn. What a delight. Enjoyed a fab get together lunch with the family. Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. We’ll be back and 10 🌟’s from us 👏

Great and attentive service, polite staff. Accommodating. No loud music you can actually talk without shouting. Superb food. Sometimes a bit if a wait when busy but worth it. Cocktails fabulous.

We were staying in the area and wanted somewhere pleasant and rural for dinner. I have to say this is probably the best “pub” food I’ve ever had! I have eaten in 5* hotels and top restaurants where the food wasn’t this good!

Service was also excellent. Friendly welcome and lovely locals. Plus the chef made a special version of one dish for my picky stepson!

If we are ever in the area again then we will be back!

We visited The Old Cherry Tree for Sunday Lunch, wow , lovely warm welcome when entering this great little gem of a pub tucked away where time just slowly drifts by.Starters were excellent, and our Sunday lunch was gorgeous. Staff were brilliant and so polite .We will definitely be visiting this great place again very soon as these places are few and far between.

Good quality food

Called in on the off chance while driving today for a couple of drinks with my wife. It has a lovely welcoming feel to it, a beautiful quaint pub/restaurant. A very nice, polite manager. A good crowd for 3pm on a Saturday, and a fab beer garden that will look lovely come the summer. We will definitely be back.

Lovely fish and chips

Wasn’t very impressed with the food this Easter weekend, starters were good and tasty but very expensive, mains were no where near what they should have been for the price they asked you to pay, you could have counted the items on my plate, no flavour, I didn’t finish it and felt sick in the evening. My partner was also hungry after her dinner which was disappointing for the money we spent. The staff were friendly but unfortunately couldn’t make up for the poor food quality and quantity.

My first time yesterday and most definitely not our last! Has been very highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Phenomenal food, excellent service ( not to mention them looking out for the new waitress first shift, very lovely supportive team from the boss, right through to other waiting members) olde building and historic decor - absolutely beautiful and a lovely birthday treat. Look forward to seeing you all again!

A sad occasion having just said farewell to an old mate earlier. However the Old Cherry Tree looked after everyone magnificently. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Parking was a bit tight otherwise a great venue for the sad
