I've not been in Newark Asda for years but as I was visiting the town I cancelled my online order and decided to go there.First impressions were good and I got everything I needed.However, as I went in at opening time, I was to find out, at checkout, there were no "normal" checkouts. This store follows the familiar ASDA blueprint of immersive all-round shopping. While it is not the biggest or grandest ASDA I have seen, it is still quite large and contains a wide array of items. Shop here, however I think the people on the bakery need to go Asda Grantham for some lessons on how to make the doughnuts more appealing. Granthams are spot on, Newark’s haven’t seen any sugar. Other than that not bad place to shop.
