Popped in for the first time to buy the wash capsules that they had on offer. The girl on checkout was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. The service was truly 5 star.
I have to say I have never ever been in a Farmfoods, but as some of the shops have been wiped out I gave it ago. The only thing it lacks is fresh food eg veg however in the hard times where people ate bulk buying I was able to buy loo roll (customers limited 3 packs of 18 rolls) didn't need 3 packs however I brought them one for me, one for parents who are both over 70 with underlying health issues and one for my elderly neighbours that I could spilt down. FF Newark always seems to hire staff who actually care (or at least show they do, which in bargain end retail is just as good and gold dust).Can't figure out why prices have risen recently (????) but there always some good bargains to be had and a decent range too.
