Me, my partner and another couple were lucky enough to attend the relaunch evening. We were completely shocked with the transformation. The placed has been decorated to a high standard and even the toilets were lovely. All four of us really enjoyed our meal and finished the evening off by sharing the “bird cage” which was delicious. Would highly recommend visiting.
The pub has new landlady and the pub has been refurbished (2019) Good meals and good choice. Lovely gardens and comfortable seating both indoors and out. A quiet area to eat (dining room) if required although plenty of seating near the bar and outside. Great sunday lunch available. I found everyone very friendly and liked the fact that if you didnt want to hear loud music there were quiet areas to sit. Good large carpark.

Just popped in for a lunchtime drink in the garden with our dogs. Lady serving couldn’t have been more helpful, even though she was taking a delivery and on her own she still found time to bring a bowl of water out for the dogs and our drinks out to us. Will definitely be back
