We were staying at nearby Premier Inn when we visited for dinner and breakfast. On both visits the food and service were great. The chicken, bacon and maple syrup waffle was lovely and it was great that there was extra maple syrup on a side dish, so much so that I had bacon and maple syrup pancakes for breakfast the next morning! On the way home after a long drive. Met promptly at the door and taken to our table despite not having booked. Hadn't had enough to drink so bottomless Pepsi was very welcome! Enjoyed our food in clean welcoming surroundings. What was special? The lady who met us at the door was very cheerful, and the gentleman who looked after us at our our table (Robin) was excellent. Great service.
Staff doing their best but it’s not good enough.If it wasn’t so serious it would be laughable we were treated to a number of rats running around the garden just by the window where we were eating our meal !!! And then a rabbit decided to join them Disused with the supervisor who was aware of the problem and informed us the rodent officer is visiting 5 times a week clearly it’s not working the restaurant should be closed until it can be given a 5 star rating by the EHO.
