Long queue, and very little menu choice. Cash only as well. Chips were average, tasted ok but were a bit soggy. Had a greasy aftertaste, expected better from the reviews. The chippy in Anstruther is much better
Oh goodness heavenly fish supper. Great admiration for fish fryer How he checks everything turning fish, checking chips, adding more fish and chips to cook. I was glad there was a queue because I was mesmerised how skilled he was.
I'll be back soon for a smoked haddock supper, I've never had one before and if the chips I had today are anything to go by, it will be something to savour! A great place for food, chat and beer. A gem, well worth the drive from Edinburgh.
