We're staying at the Beardmore Hotel and decided on an Indian meal. The hotel staff recommended cafe punjab. I'm always a little wary of reviews, but we felt after being here we had to write one. Firstly the staff/owners could not have been more helpful or pleasant which was way above and beyond what we've had in year's. The food was fantastic, we were blown away, the buffet wasn't even available but the staff took every single starter and main course too us....oh how guilty...read full review

Now a Chinese Restaurant called The Three Pound Shop. Go for the set meal it is the best deal. You get charge £3 for the rice to go with your main course. The set menu is 2 courses for £8.
