Fantastic place . Beautiful food and amazing staff . Highly recommend this spot and the views afterwards from the touring pitch were amazing.
Overall I can not recommend this site high enough.
A little pricey but you pay for what you get .
Great place to eat the food is excellent 10/ 10 from the biker boys
The Bootleggers was a really nice restaurant with AMPLE portions. The fish goujons were almost the size of a whole fish and the batter good enough to eat every bit. Sticky toffee pudding was a slab of a dessert and I ate every last piece of it. I'd definitely go back!
Lovely food, my workmate and myself really enjoyed our meal which we had after our day at work.
Very lovely place to come and enjoy good food and company, it has a very relaxed feel, the decor is great and toilets are lovely, staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The food is very good but the reason for 4* over 5* is the pork belly we had was a touch on the dry side but it did have amazing crackling accompanying it, we ordered the rib eye steak off the specials and came on top of a nice bed of salad with dressing and some veg and it was also cooked wonderfully but it was served carved, almost like a teriyaki style,I was expecting a whole steak but perhaps that was my preconceptions. Either way it was very, very good but I feel it was extremely overpriced for what it was.
Shetland Muscles
Asian Pork belly
Rib-eye
Crabby Fries
Red cabbage & Apple chilli slaw.
If you’re here book in advance and have a wonderful time. Recommended.
Wonderful meal on Sunday evening, staff very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful a really lovely restaurant with delicious food. Cannot fault it at all. Give it a try.
It would be easy to miss this place on a visit to the town as it is hidden inside the local caravan park and away from the harbour parking. It is worth the effort to seek it out. It has a wonderful, yet simple menu, friendly staff and delightful décor. Top tip is to go for the Crabby Chips as a side with anything!
Seating is available inside and out with an deck upstairs decking area that offers excellent views across the firth. We found it as a great lunch spot at the halfway turning point of a beautiful coastal walk from Burghead to Hopeman and back.
Lovely sunny afternoon lunch outside.
Amazing burger with real chippy style chips.
Would definitely recommend and looking forward to returning.
Lovely food. Best to order a good few options and share around the table

Cod was salty to the point of being inedible, felt like you were being rushed by the staff came across as rudeness. Sadly won't be going back
Yummy!
Trendy place and great location.
Take away outside with spacious outdoor tables and a bus to sit in if you need shelter.
Inside is cramped, clattery and not great atmosphere when full.
Coffee good but not much in the way of cakes or dessert.
Food expensive and smothered in sauces...burger literally slid off the bun
Lobster was undercooked and stringy, at £18 it was a very expensive mistake. Also sauces overwhelmed any lobster taste.
Burger was very small and £12.50 without chips !!!
Would try again for fish and chips.
Went for a family evening meal. Food seemed generally ok (not good, just ok). But took a very long time to arrive and wasn’t hot – actually quite tepid – by the time it arrived. Service was ok-ish at first, but appalling later. We were in the upstairs area, and NO waiting staff came upstairs for the 45 minutes after we’d finished our meals. So nobody to ask for more drinks, or for desserts – or even to ask for the bill (as we gave up on the idea of drinks/desserts after 30 minutes). Won’t be going back there again.
Lovely bar, nice menu, although staff lite lapse. Plenty of staff who just kept walking past when you tried to get their attention.
