Now known as The Forager and operated by Dean Banks, we were curious to try it and see if the reviews were accurate. The atmosphere was good and the staff were amazing. In particular our server - sorry I didn’t catch his name - was very engaging and entertaining, definitely an asset to the restaurant/pub. There was what appeared to be a manager/supervisor going round who just glared at everyone which if it hadn’t been for the other staff this would have been very odd putting....read full review
4 adults 2 kids 2 dogs. Wet after a walk. Welcomed at the door. Pleasant staff. Nice atmosphere and a wee folk band playing whilst we were there. Spent a very pleasant couple of hours there. Will definitely be backKid-friendliness: Kids were well catered for.

Table of four, all chose different dishes. All were delicious. Finished off with tasty coffees. Complimented the staff on the food and coffee, but was told they’re ditching the real coffee and switching to pods. Oh well ….
