7 of us stayed 4 nights for a walking holiday in the area. Stuart made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers when we all arrived back at the same time. Wifi was only available in the dining room and TV reception was intermittant in some rooms. We had stayed here 2years ago and it was a pleasant stay. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and a few drinks and the breakfast the next day was very good. However, this time it was quite different, we received an e mail the day before travelling which stated that the restaurant and bar where closed for renovation , had we been told this earlier in the booking we would have gone elsewhere , ( the renovations had been going on for some time as stated by the lady who greeted...read full review
Spent two nights in the hotel. Good sized rooms, well furnished. At a good price. It has everything you expect from a basic hotel.Owners were very friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference.The bar is under going renovation, so soon that will be very nice I'm sure.
