Decided to go for meal here after visiting the memorial arboretum lightshow ,travelled from Shareshill. Ordered 2 pie meals .waited over an hour only for waitress to bring 2 pie meals to next table of 5.I said i think they are ours ,she took no notice.Remaining 3 guests on this table didnt receive their meals either. So was obvious they had our food.I asked how long our food would be .Was obvious from their faces they had cocked up orders.waitress came to remove their plates and laughed and said sorry but we have been so busy !! No excuse really !! Asked for money back and wont return due to sheer incompetence of staff.

Popular pub! Accommodation on site. Visited on a Friday and had a good atmosphere. Drinks very reasonable and the food was beyond expectation and very well priced.

Reviews are good, So decided to book a table for 2. drove 10 miles to the pub. On arrival stood at the bar. The pub was pretty empty. A member of staff walked past us a number of times, never acknowledged us being there. We’re finally told where our table was. Sat at the table for another 15 minutes. No one came to us. So while waiting, Booked a table at the Shoal Hill Tavern. Fantastic customer service and food there. Would highly recommend.

The Mountain Lodge Retreat was a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Surrounded by towering peaks, it was a gateway to adventure. Our lodge room was cozy and had a fireplace for those chilly mountain nights. The lodge staff were experts on the local trails and provided invaluable tips for our hikes. We left feeling invigorated and inspired by nature's majesty.

Highly recommend staying and eating here. Breakfasts are served freshly made and staff are extremely friendly and keen to ensure your stay is perfect. Accommodation works brilliantly for our family. Have also eaten numerous great meals here too and looking forward to return stays. Thank you for making us feel welcome and looking after us.

Food and establishment looked very nice but upon looking at the menu we didn't bother - nuggets, fish fingers or sausage for kids and no kids dessert's... not a particularly imaginative selection, it gives the impression kids don't matter.
