Visited the Codfather for Saturday lunch, both my battered haddock and my wife’s battered rock cooked to perfection. Staff were polite, helpful and attentive. Would certainly recommend.
We wandered into town intending to find a pub for dinner - didn't realise this take-away had a restaurant. So glad we chose this place. My wife is a fish and chip lover and her cod and chips were superb, I'm not a batter and chips person so went for the grilled cod, new potatoes and veg - which was really good - be aware the potatoes and veg are pan fried so not a low cal option but if you are watching your diet you are omitting a lot of fat by choosing the grilled fish - so I...read full review

Great customer service Great food Great value when you get told that you are going out for fish and chis for lunch with your family , you think ok , but this is not just fish and chips , this is fish and chips in a different class. Grilled or fired fish your choice and you know the chips are good when you don't leave any on your plate.
