Went for Sunday Lunch we both had the trio of meats. The food was incredible. We were served by Kelly & Ellis, and they made our time there, polite, jolly and a smile. Looking forward to rebooking soon. Very reasonably priced

We booked for a table of eight about am hour before our arrival and despite being very short of staff they opened up a new section of the restaurant for us. Our waiter Kelly greeted us at the door with a huge smile, was helpful and polite, despite being run of her feet in the other areas of the pub, she made the effort to converse in Spanish with the Argentinian members of our party and engaged with the six-year-old who took delight in helping her bring spoons and putting to the table! The food was delicious, the pub was clean and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back

Dropped in today for lunch and a drink. The quiche was really good and the local Shere beer was fabulous. It had a great country pub atmosphere and the hostess made us feel welcome with nothing being too much trouble. We had a great time. Thoroughly recommend.

Service was very slow and disappointing. Forgot about one person's food even though reminded plenty of times. Additionally, after 30 minutes of waiting they came saying that the dish wasn't available. Atmosphere was great though! Food was alright, the risotto for 20 pounds was definitely not worth it, and the chicken was undercooked as well. Would not recommend.

What a great memory this will make. The 3 of us had a wonderful meal and say at the special table famous for the Holiday movie - my friend's favourite. Great food and lovely atmosphere, we were really well looked after.
We were served by Kelly who was excellent in terms of customer service with a kind , warm and friendly attitude. Luke was also excellent.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at this pub, and I can't recommend it enough. The food was simply outstanding, each dish was expertly prepared and delicious. But what truly made our evening was the incredible service. We were lucky enough to be served by Mira and Tabs, who were both so attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel completely at home. It’s clear they take real pride in their work. The combination of great food and exceptional staff created the perfect atmosphere for our family dinner. We will definitely be making a return visit soon!
