What a fantastic little pub, we stayed for two nights, the food as exceptional, the staff could not do enough for you, the rooms are fantastic with attention to detail. John the owner was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for him.
I found the hotel on the Red Letter Days site as we had a voucher to use and I'm so glad we decided to book it. The hotel is located in a small quiet village about 5 miles from Abergele in an idyllic setting overlooking the river and accessed via a hump back bridge. From the warm welcome we received on arrival to a reluctant goodbye when we left, we could not have had a better experience. The staff are all friendly and helpful as is John the landlord. The food was delicious. I had sirloin steak and it was cooked exactly as I requested (medium rare) which doesn't happen often. The service was good and the staff really helpful and friendly. I would recommend it.
