Well what can I say, what a lovely rural pub. Had our 1st carvery here and what a pleasant surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed the roast. Very tasty as much as you could eat, staff really friendly chatty great atmosphere. Small dining area which I preferred so you could have a decent conversation without having to raise your voice.... Nice quiet and personal... We shall definitely be going back. Thanks to everyone for making it an enjoyable experience... Food was excellent !!!! ??
this is a little jewel of a village pub, with spectacular views of the black mountains and historic beauty of the previous blacksmiths within.
This place is a destination restaurant.
The landlord was so friendly and the land lady served up some of the best home cooked food.
I can highly recommend the home made madras with real chips and rice.
and the homemade pie, peas and chips. We were spoilt for choice and look forward to returning.

Spent a week in the village on holiday and visited the pub 3 times. Staff are very welcoming, as were the other customers. We tried the food on one evening. It was very tasty with proper chips. Thursday night was quiz night raising money for a very good cause. We had a really good night.
