They have an amazingly talented chef. We went there for my birthday and they accommodated us booking at the last minute and we got there at 830 pm. It was empty but for us it was at the back end of when they take food orders and they were really friendly and so we ordered not knowing what to expect and OH MY G O D thee food was really good i was quite shocked at how good it was I mean I’ve not eaten a meal like that years? Just arrived home from visiting this fine establishment. 5 stars. Very pleasant staff, excellent food and great ambience. Will definitely make this gem a regular visit. I highly recommend.
Very accommodating and friendly family running the pub. The portions are a good size, especially the chips. The presentation could be better however, but if you just want some hearty pub grub and short notice it’s perfect.
