This place was sooooooo good. The staff were so accommodating and kind. They were obviously working so hard over the August bank holiday too. The vegan curry was so delicious we took what we couldnt eat with us. I loved the pulled pork bun too. It also has a beautiful outside seating area nearby which is a great place to relaz and they will bring the food out to you.
A great spot for a pit stop along the coastal path, or even for an afternoon cocktail in the sunshine. A lovely and friendly team and the Hugo Spritz’s went down a treat! Well worth a visit!
Lovely spot for a coffee and a cream lathered scone! Small walk to a quiet beach. One of my favorite spots in Anglesey.
This is a fantastic little eatery by the coast. We were surprised at the range and quality of food on offer - and at such inexpensive prices. All the usual basics are on offer, icecream etc but do be sure to try a strawberry scone. I have to say, the best on Anglesey. I’ve had light snacks before, but I have heard rave reviews from friends about the substantial meals. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors to enjoy the weather and sea views. The last time we went I had a lovely conversation with the owner who I noticed was attentive to all customers. So busy and yet offering exemplary service with a smile. Well done, Wavecrest!
Excellent cafe and food is all home cooked. Strawberry scone were lovely. Garden seating area means plenty of seats. Had afternoon tea and cakes
Gorgeous food, beautifully presented. Cute seaside cafe with a host of friendly efficient staff. Plenty of indoor / outdoor seating.
I highly recommend the Juicy Prawn Platter - simply delicious.
Lovely clean and peaceful
Staff incredibly friendly and ready to help
The wave crest cafe is an amazing cafe! Homemade food, homemade cakes, fantastic cafe and wonderful service and staff xx The fish pie is the best I’ve ever tasted. The scones are out of this world and the staff are amazing, warm and friendly x A rare cafe where everything is so well thought out, run professionally and a perfect mix of proper food and service x we’ll miss you when we go home xx
I had the fish pie which was the best I’ve ever had - delicious. The service is great and you so rarely get a cafe where everything is so thought through and home made. We also loved the giant scones and ice cream! Thank you.

We visited Porth Swtan yesterday and my daughter injured her foot in the sea. The lovely staff ar the Café helped with first aid and even gave her and my other two children an ice cream to take their minds off it.
Thank you for all your help, we will definitely be back!
Loved eating here. We were lucky with the weather and were able to eat in the lovely garden. I had a stunning local dressed crab. A great size and with a gorgeous fruity salad. Service was great and I would love to go back again, next time I am in the area.
Lovely cafe enroute to Church Bay beach. Has a brilliant choice of gluten free food - cakes and food. Staff were very friendly too. Highly recommended. Will return.
What a lovely place. We had come to Church Bay for the views - gorgeous! - and Swtan heritage museum. Lovely staff in the cafe, we had baguettes that were stuffed with filling and fries. We really did want the giant scones but would have struggled to eat them because they really are ginormous lol. Oh well I guess we ate coming back for those ?
This cafe is wonderful! Staff are so friendly and food is amazing. We had the fish pie and a crab platter one day, and came back the next to try the amazing scones. Sure we’ll be back and recommend a visit to anyone who’s in the area.
