Great off the beaten track bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the hells lager was a welcome find. Nicely away from the hustle and bussle of the city centre.
Good beer and friendly staff.
Excellent venue, friendly staff good beer and food. Only a micro quibble but erodes full complement of stars is the ratio of peas to chips in the fish and chips NEEDS to be adjusted in favour of the PEAS!! Otherwise alls well here !
Fantastic. A brilliant selection of beer in a really nice place. It does net matter the time of the year, in the winter it’s great by the log burner or summer on the benches outside.
Quite nice beer selection and food choices with a sweet server.
Excellent pub with rotating pop-up restaurants and chefs always excellent quality. Large selection of drinks including beers wines cocktails. The wine list includes natural wines. Nice location nice clientele. Dark and mysterious.
Was recommended this place by the local tattoo place. A wonderful range on tap and reasonable prices. We will be returning.
El Azteca at The Loft (above 1000 Trades) is one of Birmingham’s best kept secrets. If you’re into proper, flavour packed Mexican food, this place is a must.
The tacos are next-level tender meat, loads of flavour, and that rich consomme dip... unreal. The elotes (Mexican street corn) are super moreish.
The vibe is chilled but lively, cool space upstairs with a laid-back feel, and great tunes in the background. Perfect spot for a casual dinner, date night, or just drinks and tacos with mates.
Staff are friendly, food is fresh and full of flavour, and it’s just a really fun place to eat. Bonus: you can grab great beers or cocktails from 1000 Trades downstairs too.
Great choice of real ales, cider, and the usual main street drinks. Popular pub with a mixed age group and decent bar staff. Food is available however I did not eat on this occasion. There is a seated area outside the front of the pub on a moderately quiet road.
Great pub. Good range of beers, and good atmosphere.
If you're lucky, there may be a DJ playing good old fashioned vinyl.

I am a coeliac and my friend is gluten free. We ate here on a Saturday and picked from the Asian menu. Unfortunately some of the dishes marked GF, they have one fryer so it meant any GF dishes that had fried elements wouldn't be suitable for coeliacs. We chose a belly pork dish and the kitchen advised because ours was the first to be cooked that day it would be even safer. The food was good, just be cautious if you're coeliac to ask the normal questions about cross contamination
Amazing Sunday roast dinner.
Excellent food, good choice of wine and other drinks. Quirky place with friendly staff
Staff were friendly, banterous and knowledgeable about their beers and ciders.
Great selection and even had some gluten free options.
Good music and a cozy atmosphere.
Good place but only a small auditorium for the jazz so you need to book
