Given raw chicken and when questioned why there was blood seeping out of the chicken they simply replied you arent having a refund we dont like the english!!! Absolutely shocked by the treatment of the manager, remember whos country your in !!!

Absolutely disgusted in this place chicken came raw pink inside and I sent it back for my partner to still be eating and mine came back 2 mins later and no sauce on ? So it had obviously been back in the pan , when got further eating it it was still raw so when she came to clear the plate I told her and she had a word with the chef and owner for us to see him throwing his arms up saying we don’t like English people so there not having a refund !!! Racism ! Unbelievable! Left what we had and that’s it didn’t pay for my raw meal ! Horrible management staff lovely !

Parking: Parking is part of three main Newmillerdam car park. It can get busy but there's generally more than enough space

Phoned the day before arrival and we were squeezed in for 7pm a couple of nights ago, so I knew it was going to be busy. I arrived first and was offered a drink whilst waiting for my friend. Once she arrived again she was served swiftly. Whilst sipping on our wines we waited a little longer than expected for our order to be taken, but we did not mind, as we knew we were squeezed in for 7pm on a last minute booking. This restaurant has been on my radar for a while now as walk regularly around the lake and wished I had come sooner! We both had a main and then two deserts with coffee at the end. All the food was gorgeous including the desserts. My friend had Lasanga and I had a Pasta dish with shrimps, tomato pesto and sun dried tomatos, Delicious! We had homemade cheesecake which was amazing and also the Tiramisu which also amazing. We were served by a lovely waitress who answered all our questions with honesty. Forgot her name! Sorry. First time at this restaurant and will definitely return. We were the last pair to leave! Thank you!
Parking: Arrive early as car park was busy as used for the walks round the lake. Free parking in evening.

Would usually rate this higher,however, ordered bruschetta as a starter which was literally one piece of toast - which was cold with tomatoes on the top of it and a slice of cold cheese .. wasn’t nice at all and sent it back and asked for it knocking off the bill.
My partner had to pull a cobweb away which was behind my head away from me which freaked me out a little little bit LOL
The main was quite nice

Went for first time, luved it had chicken wirh veg..perfect... hubby had steak ? garlic bread for starter, definitely go again. Thanks for amazing meal..

First time visiting today with friends. A lovely calm atmosphere, with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The huge rosemary and sea salt garlic bread was divine , I will be dreaming about the taste for a while. I followed this with a chicken and mushroom risotto which was creamy and extremely tasty. We will be back.

My friend (who is disabled) and I were having a meal to celebrate her birthday. They went out of their way to make sure she could safely access the restaurant. The food was lovely and the service friendly.
Parking: There is a limited amount of free parking. There is a large paid carpark.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp available for wheel chair access..
