I have been coming to Robatary for years and usually love it. Tonight was a disappointment though. The service was terrible - no adequate cutlery on the table, got my dessert order wrong and then messed up the bill. The poor waitresses were run ragged so I’m not blaming them because they were short staffed and it was very busy. This is a management issue.
The food itself was mediocre tonight.
I’m hoping this is not the new direction Robatary is going in as if it is, I don’t think I’ll be paying many more visits.

I had my birthday meal here on Saturday. Ellie and the team were absolutely fantastic. We were a large party, and the catered to our every need!! Thank you for making my birthday so special ❤️

This place has changed recently, menu and atmosphere. Went recently for Friday evening food and drinks, the place is nice but it’s too bright and the music is really too cheesy and loud. The pale ale has been replaced by their own ‘Ro-beer’ which isn’t nice at all (just my opinion) menus are laminated paper too like the ones you seen in a market place cafe. Foods decent enough and reasonably priced which is nice but the recent changes do not improve the experience. I don’t think I will be returning soon.

My friends and I recently visited as part of an annual birthday gathering and we were unfortunately disappointed. The service was absolutely fine we had no issues there but the restaurant has changed it’s menu so we were surprised when we were handed the new one which was now quite a juvenile design. The website still hasn’t be updated (checked again before this review) as we checked this before visiting. There seems to be now far too many cuisines to choose from offering sushi, burgers and Indian to name just a few. The restaurant was a third full which last time we visited it was at max capacity and the music varied from pop music to dance anthems. Very different to the atmosphere, music and food the restaurant used to offer. The food was ok, but we didn’t feel it was worth the price tag. We hope that the restaurant does consider revisiting the old menu or select one cuisine to focus on before we would consider returning.

They are under new ownership,the old menus are still on the tables, all pork taken from the menu (waitress told us, its not scrubbed out) so I couldn't order what Id chosen, I appreciate its the owners religious beliefs but its a restaurant and those views shouldn't be forced on us that enjoy pork.Lovely place, lovely staff but we wont return.
The place is definitely worthy of 5*, the decor, the staff, the atmosphere.... THE FOOD... the food was so fresh, so flavoursome

Great night out at robatary, we went for a family meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the service and food was excellent quality, very clean ?
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was very good and there was at least 3 to select from starter, main, and desert all for 9.50 excellent value for money.

This place has gone downhill a lot recently. Always had lovely meals here, but the most recent visit was disappointing. The ramen broth was average, had absolutely no depth of flavour, no spice at all. And why on earth were vermacelli noodles used in the ramen? They have no place in ramen. The Bibimbap was quite nice though. Service once we got our meals was extremely slow. It's a shame, the decor is really nice. We will not be back.
