Genuinely jaw dropping food! Upon looking at the menu I was struggling to choose between the plentiful tantalising meals, and ended up choosing two soups instead (the Thai coconut soup and the Cornish fish soup), and my friend had the chicken risotto. Both were totally authentic and mouthwatering, leading to me ordering another to take away for dinner. I haven’t experienced such good food in a long time and the low prices do not reflect the quality of the food. Fantastic.
We had our wedding reception high tea at terrace on the hill and from the initial planning all the way to the end it was an absolute perfection. Marie was a pleasure to work with, she pulled out all the stops to ensure we had the perfect afternoon. We brought decorations/the cake ahead of time which she and the team kindly set up for us. We met up with my two brothers and their wives-the first time since before Covid. Lovely to see them. After a little stroll we went to the Terrace on the Hill. We had coffees and tea. My twin brother even had a lovely cake. We had several coffees. Nice ambience and good service. A most enjoyable occasion.
