Frozen square chips with ketchup on top are not patatas bravas. The other tapas items were clearly reheats. Staff were pleasant enough. Won’t be returning

You know when you just want to find somewhere just to kick back on a sofa, drink some great beer, read a good book and eat some delicious tapas??....well, the Albero Lounge has all of that, and brilliant staff to complete the experience. The 3-dish tapas is a great way to experience lots of great flavours without feeling like you've been exposed to a US-sized monster main course that many restaurants serve (quantity over quality etc). Couple that to some great IPAs, then you've got somewhere where you can spend a while enjoying social time with friends or quality time with a good book!

My partner and I went to Albero Lounge mid week. He ordered the falafel platter, which was delicious. I tried to order bang bang cauliflower but they didn’t have it, then they were out of the cauliflower curry. I switched to the vegan BLT (described as bacon, lettuce and sliced tomato on toasted bread with garlic mayo) and fries. What arrived was 2 pieces of white bread stuffed with vegan bits. The waitress asked if it was okay and said she’d take it back to the kitchen to see if they could fix it. It arrived back with a splodge of mayo. I asked if I could have the bread toasted and tomato and lettuce. She took it away again and the manager brought it back with some cubes of tomato added and explained that it couldn’t be toasted. We ended up laughing because I’ve worked as a waitress and my partner is a former chef so we understood that the wait staff were just dealing with a difficult chef. She offered me fries for free but I already had some, then soup but then they were out of that, so she just refunded me. I came home and made some cheese on TOAST. Albero Lounge need to stock properly but the kitchen need some training evidently on customer skills and working in the service industry.

Awful. Food a rrived cold. When flagged up it was reheated not recooked with the thinnest slice of black pudding, never seen a slice so thin!!! Do not recommend and will not return!

Our room was stunning, very clean and comfortable. Has a huge bath in the room, decorated beautifully, will definitely be booking again. There's multi story parking very close by, great location. 10/10

What a great venue. I came here for the first time yesterday, 15th November, around lunch time . The atmosphere, was really welcoming. The location and vibe of this place is both unique and beautiful, and the staff were amazing. The place seemed quite busy when I came, but there was still a few seats left and the coffee here is delicious! Add to that the customer service, where the staff here seemed very helpful and, very pleasant. There were three girls working on my visit, and all three worked exceptionally well as a team!, delivering food and drinks to the customers and, engaging with their customers throughout! Will definitely use again, and highly recommend it to anyone...

We went for an evening dinner here last week. There’s been a change in management and they’re trying to raise the, already good , standards . We had a nasi goreng with fried egg on top and their Goan lamb curry, both were really delicious and the goreng seems to be an improvement on what we’d had last time we’d ordered it. We also had a sticky toffee pudding and their chocolate brownie puddings which were also great. We will be back !!

I came in on a Monday with my partner and we’ve been here a few times and it’s been pretty good , but today there were two girls and the one behind the bar was standing on her phone the whole time and we didn’t even receive a welcome so we just sat down and ordered from the app . Quite disappointed really since I work in hospitality and would at least expect a hello but they both didn’t seem bothered and stood on their phones .

We always enjoy visiting the lounge chain of café bars. The outside seating at the Bedford branch was particularly pleasant as it overlooks the river. We enjoyed two flat whites, which cost £6.60.

Unexpected Treat found when having an evening walk. Popped in here for the first time and had a lovely meal. Flatbreads are an absolute treat with friendly staff! Will be back

Never been here before but decided to try for breakfast, lovely choice on menu, we had lounge eggs with spinach and mushrooms very tasty, I would of like my muffin toasted more but that’s my preference, perfect eggs! We definitely return one day.

We’ve been to this Lounge many times but today’s visit was really disappointing for many reasons (some minor, some really quite major). We had breakfast/brunch, there were few people in so no real reason for confusion on orders, but from 3 items, one drink was wrong (minor, easily resolved) but more worryingly the gluten free dish was supplied with a vegetarian sausage, which was realised when it has been tasted. The sausage was replaced, but returned on the same plate, so gluten may have been consumed and the rest of the food cross contaminated. This is really different to how dependable Lounge have been before to gluten intolerant customers. Lastly, the toilets were clean, but had been mopped with so much water that the floors had puddles, but no one seemed to have checked that the cubicles had paper. The men’s had none in the only available cubicle, and the women’s cubicle dispenser was full but no paper fed through, so unusable. So jobs seem to be done, but not with the care you’d expect.

Perfect food, quickly served. The chilli was amazing! Friendly staff, dog friendly. People will possibly complain that you can't book but the fact that it's busy tells you why. Superb!
