“Went here on Sunday lunchtime for my birthday. Absolutely excellent. Food was good, portions large enough for most very hungry people. Very friendly and attentive staff. Lovely location in a very pretty stone village.”

“Lovely staff who were very welcoming and the food was delicious. Great value for money and the portions were generous. Far better than big coffee shop chains.
I recommend the grilled chicken and coffee frappe.

“We had a lovely, late Sunday lunch. We both had beef, which was beautifully cooked with lovely gravy and trimmings. Too much to eat and left no room for dessert which was a shame.
We have had weekday lunches here and have always gone for the senior menu and it's just a shame there wasn't a smaller portion of the Sunday lunch on offer as I had to leave food, which I hate.
The decor is ok. It is a pub with tv screens and is big on sport, but the chef has done marvels with the menu. Worth a visit.”
