Food was okay but had to wait 25 minutes after the pick up time given to us and the door wouldn’t close so was absolutely freezing. On top of this they missed two of the items for the pescatarian who then could not eat anything. Overall bad

My first time using this takeaway and the last unfortunately, I got very severe food poisoning. As the saying goes once bitten twice shy!

Good Chinese food, and reasonable prices!

Disappointed that we were not given tissues due to the boss wanting to save on costs. Only offered forks. No hand wipes. Little extras go a long way - especially since we pay £20 per order and order 3-4 times a week!

This was a nice tiny Chinese takeout in a small town in Bedfordshire. I had telephoned my order through an hour or so in advance and, despite being told by locals that the order would be late, it was ready when I got there. I like that they take cash. They had included a 10p charge for a plastic bag that I did not need because I had taken a bag along. They also didn't give me the two lots of prawn crackers that we had specifically ordered but handed them over without quibble when I went back. The food was really nice though and that is the main thing. I would go again, if Flitwick were not so impractically far from my house.

Excellent take away food with big portions

China Inn is a small, ground floor takeaway in the heart of Flitwick.China Inn offers the usual variety of Chinese takeaway menu items however on our one visit the food we came away with was of poor quality and left us with a bad taste in our mouths. The Rice was of average quality, not good not bad, but the real sticking point was the main dishes. We found that most of what we got suffered from poor flavour or too much; the chicken balls being a particular sticking point, with a thick bready batter and a rather tasteless sauce to boot. The price was what you'd expect, though, for that we didn't feel as though we'd walked away with our money's worth.on top of that we were left queuing for a good 40 minutes or so.Overall, China Inn offers plenty of options, but is very much to the individuals taste and lacks that takeaway feel during busy days. Unfortunately, it wasn't our cup of tea.Food: 4/10Service: 4/10Accessibility: 8/10Value: 2/10

While China In didn't surpass my expectations, it remains a solid choice for Chinese cuisine in Ampthill, Toddington, and Flitwick. With some improvements, particularly in expanding their tofu and fake meat options, the restaurant has the potential to become even better.Vegetarian options: It was ok, neither great or bad

The food was Awful Too spicy to even eat. I will never go again. Sweet and Sour prawns where hard. One of the worst Chinese I have ever had.

On weekend evenings be warned this place gets busy so make sure to phone your order well in advance. The reason it gets so busy is that the food here is so good. Easily the best Chinese in Flitwick or Ampthill (believe me, I've tried them all!)

Great food, great service ? take away only but we'll worth it ?

We ordered food for 2 at 6.30 and were told it would be 90 mins. Food took another hour to be ready. 2 1/2 hours for a take away is ridiculous. Terrible customer service. Expensive and not that great. £4.00 for small portion of seaweed. Spare ribs were very salty and stone cold. Prawn toasts greasy and tasteless. We will not be going there again.

I have been using this Chinese for over 14 years, and I now will never use/eat from them again. If… a big if you get through on the phone, the women working on the front desk answers the phone and then says 1 minute and just leaves the phone on the side for over 20 minutes only to hang up, then the wait is over 3 hours if you order online, never again. My advice, don’t order from them but if u have too don’t pay for your order until the food is in a bag in front of you (if you pay when u get there, as soon as payment is taken they will then say 1 or 2 hour wait time and your stuck as u have already paid, I have seen this in person and the poor lady had no choice but to wait), also CHECK your order before you leave the shop as they like to miss items then play dumb by saying it was in the bag. GO TO SHEFFORD HONG KONG HOUSE, much nicer and the food is lovely and cheaper.

Never had an issue here - always tasty and good portions, sometimes a little wait beyond designated online time however not usually longer than 10-15 minutes outside this time. This is our regular for a Chinese takeaway

Awful customer service!! Very rude on the phone. Huge waiting times of 2 hours then when you get there they tell you you’ll be waiting a while. Wont be using this place again as there are plenty others in the area that take 20 minutes to cook your food. 2 stars because the food is ok otherwise it would be 1 star. They need to seriously work on their customer service and cooking times.
